Why You Need to Add Fruit Acid Skincare Into Your Regime Now

by MOH SHUYING  /   October 24, 2017

You might not know it, but fruit acids are actually in a wide variety of skincare, from cleansers to serums, moisturisers and masks. They are derived from a range of different fruits like oranges (citric acid), apples (malic acid), sugar cane (glycolic acid) and bitter almonds (mandelic acid).

Fruit acids have a number of uses like exfoliating skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, softening the complexion and even lightening the appearance of pigmentation. And while with any acids, there is a risk irritation, fruit acids tend to be well tolerated by most skin types, even sensitive ones. Here, we pick out some of the fruit acid-infused skincare we love.
