Here Are The Great Hair Masks That You Should Treat Yourself To
#1: Innisfree My Hair Moisturising Hair Pack, $19

This intense, nourishing wash-off hair mask provides hydration and nourishment for shiny, sleek tresses. It contains natural protein from undiluted Jeju soybean juice and oil, which treats damaged hair and restores radiance and elasticity. Meanwhile, ingredients from Jeju cedar, cypress, and pine take care of damaged scalps caused by environmental and stress factors. Jeju camellia also nourishes the hair, and Jeju green tea, hyaluronic acid and xylitol have deeply moisturising properties.

#2: Davines NouNou Hair Mask, US$20 (S$27), www.net-a-porter.com

This repairing mask is suitable for all hair types, but is especially good for highly processed or brittle hair. It is formulated with extracts of fiaschetto tomato, carefully sourced off the coast of southern Italy. This highly prized fruit, rich in nourishing vitamin C, gives this luxurious treatment its restorative and nourishing benefits. Creamy yet lightweight, this product will leave hair feeling soft, silky and deeply moisturised. Apply to towel dried hair, leave on for 5 to 10 minutes, and comb through and rinse.

#3: Aesop Rose Hair & Scalp Moisturising Masque, $47
image

An intensive, conditioning treatment to restore vitality, lustre and softness to hair, while soothing dry and flaky scalps, this mask can be used on normal to dry, fragile and chemically treated hair. The rich, silky cream has a floral, warm and woody fragrance, and key ingredients include rose petal, beta carotene and lavender stem. To use, apply one tablespoon evenly onto clean, towel-dried hair, concentrating on mid-lengths and ends. Leave on for at least twenty minutes, then rinse hair thoroughly.

#4: Gisou Honey Infused Hair Mask, $92, www.revolve.com

Blended with nourishing golden nectar from the mirsalehi bee garden, this hair mask is rich in minerals, vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants that restore health and shine to moisture-depleted hair. A natural humectant, honey helps maintain hair’s moisture balance while improving elasticity, strength, and softness. Suitable for all hair types, this can also be used as a deep treatment or overnight treatment for extremely dry hair. Use 1-2 times per week on towel-dried hair for 5-7 minutes.

#5: L'Occitane Aromachologie Repairing Mask, $53
image

This hair mask promises to transform dry and damaged hair to strong and shiny tresses. The new formula contains an anti-breakage complex, made with five essential oils (ylang-ylang, sweet orange, lavender, geranium, angelica) and plant-derived amino acids, which help to repair the hair fiber. It also contains shea butter and sweet almond oil, both of which have highly moisturising and nourishing properties. Hair is smoothed, regenerated, protected against breakage, while hair fiber is rebuilt.

#6: The Body Shop Banana Truly Nourishing Hair Mask, $29
image

This hair mask features a delicious blend of Community Trade natural-origin ingredients, including organic banana puree from Ecuador and Brazil nut oil from Peru. Enriched with Brazilian cupuaçu, this 100% vegan, once-a-week treatment has no silicones and mineral oil, and leaves hair feeling intensely nourished from root-to-tip. Locks look less frizzy and instantly shinier, without being too heavy or greasy. Massage into damp, clean hair, leave on for 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

#7: Living Proof Restore Mask Treatment, $61, Sephora
image

This deeply conditioning treatment repairs dry, damaged hair by instantly restoring and nourishing damaged hair cuticles, leaving hair visibly healthier, stronger and shinier. Powered by the brand’s patented Healthy Hair Molecule (OFPMA), the formula moisturises tresses and repels dirt so less shampooing and styling is needed, which translates to a healthier hair care routine. The mask also protects hair from future damage and strengthens locks to become twenty times more resistant to breakage.

#8: Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak, $54
image

Created specifically for dehydrated, under-nourished and damaged hair, this mask is ideal for hair weakened by overexposure to sun, chemical-processing, or excessive heat styling. The repairative mask provides intense conditioning, helping to repair severely weakened hair fibers by restoring its moisture content. The formula contains ingredients such as avocado oil, lemon extract, and olive fruit oil, so that it deeply nourishes, moisturises and strengthens hair, while restoring shine and a healthy appearance.
