There’s A New Pop-Up Store In Town For All Japanese Beauty Junkies

by SOFIA KIM  /   March 13, 2019

We love a good pop-up store and we are always on the lookout for new spaces coming up. Besides the YSL Beaute Hotel and Clarins Ice Cream Bar in town now, there is a new pop-up space that — unlike its other counterparts — will be re-welcoming a beauty brand that was, and still is, loved when it was first made available here in Singapore.

Located at Isetan Scotts, the new pop-up boutique will feature three Japanese brands (Albion, Les Merveillieuses Laduree and Paul & Joe Beaute), the latter making its highly anticipated comeback. Paul & Joe Beaute is most known for its hydrating formulas and makeup that gives a natural, radiant finish. The products are housed in Parisian-inspired packaging that are instantly recognisable thanks to the prints and adorable cases.

What to expect at the pop-up boutique: the newest — and best-selling — products from all three brands from makeup to skincare. P.S. It’s slated to run till September, so be sure to grab your favourites from these Japanese brands before it ends.

Above, some of the products we can’t wait to get our hands on from Paul & Joe Beaute.

Formulated with orange flower water, this uber hydrating primer preps skin for makeup application by delivering moisture and enhancing skin radiance. It also contains three types of hyaluronic acid of differing sizes, which helps retain moisture throughout the day.

#2: Liquid Foundation, $62

Said to be a serum foundation, this helps one to achieve a natural, luminous and healthy-looking finish thanks to a combination of orange flower and water and tremella fuciformis extract, which helps keep skin moisturised for hours and impart a dewy glow.

#3: Pressed Face Powder, $45

This uses fine-textured, transparent powder made up of small-sized particles to create a soft-focus effect and evens out skin tone. Gold pearls deliver radiance and luminosity to the skin.

#4: Lipstick, $40

In 22 shades and two different finishes (one gives a sheer, natural coverage while the other is richly pigmented), these wear comfortably and is made with a unique blend of oils containing rich amounts of active ingredients, that melts and spreads over puckers while firmly adhering to the lips.

#5: Powder Blush, $45

A clear moist base helps the colour remain true for a brilliant, lustrous finish for extended hours while full pigment and clear plate powders produce bright, clear and translucent colours.
