What do you get when a K-Beauty newcomer like RboW creates a perfume of their own? Well much like the rising label’s ethos of bridging the domains of beauty and art, their debut series of four fragrances aptly named Case Study.
RboW, the brainchild of former contemporary art gallery director So Hyung Kim, was created last April and is carried here at beauty e-store Beaubit which is a go-to for cult beauty brands that cater to Asian skin. Its premise: treating fragrances like blank canvases for artistic creations, much like the relationship an artist has with his work.

The four fragrances in the Case Study series.
Taking an experimental route, each perfume was designed to evoke a familiar setting whether that may be a European summer adventure (see Case Study #8 Lights on Objet) or the comforting aroma of warm incense and smoke (see Case Study O.A.C).
The scents are formulated with wholly plant-based ingredients are finally packaged in glass bottles covered in wrapping that reminds one of abstract expressionist art.
