Taking good care of my skin has become a habit and I never skip my night time skincare routine. As an avid K-beauty junkie, I like to follow the popular multi-step Korean skincare routine. Here, I share with you the products I use to keep my skin hydrated, healthy and smooth.
Double cleansing is an essential step in any Korean skincare regime. I use this sorbet-soft, lightweight cleansing balm which dissolves away makeup, even stubborn waterproof mascaras, without stripping away skin’s natural oils. It also contains papaya extract and vitamin C to gently exfoliate and brighten.
Although this cleanser is meant to be used in the morning, I prefer incorporating it into my night time routine. This low pH formula gel cleanser is formulated with purifying botanical ingredients and mild acids to gently cleanse and remove oil-based residue.
After cleansing, I always apply a toner. My all-time favourite has got to be this rose water toner as it is great for my sensitive skin. Formulated with 90.89 per cent Damask rose water, it helps hydrate and brighten my skin.
Essences are vital in any good Korean skincare routine as it helps hydrate, aid skin repair and cell turnover. This improves skin metabolism and blood circulation for an overall healthier and radiant-looking complexion. My tip: pat the product gently onto your skin instead of using cotton pads to avoid wastage.
Use multiple serums are common in Korea. This is rich in anti-oxidants, organic green tea and green tea seeds harvested from Jeju Island to hydrate and give my skin a glowy and dewy finish. The best part? It does not leave my skin feeling greasy.
It’s no secret that Koreans love using facial masks. As I have dull skin, this mask helps me achieve a more radiant complexion and is made with sea cucumber extract and sea daffodil extracts to protect skin from environmental aggressors.

Eyecare is a must as the skin around it is very delicate and thin, and is also the first area to show signs of ageing. This is formulated with the brand’s skin charger complex and ceramide repair water to hydrate and restore elasticity.

Last but not least, I apply my favourite moisturiser. Since I have combination skin, I prefer using a gel-type moisturiser compared to oil-based ones to avoid the clogging up of pores while at the same time still providing my skin with sufficient moisture. This is also formulated with winter cypress extracts to cool irritated skin and help with skin regeneration.
