One of the most common problems women face is roughness and lack of radiance. While there are many factors that can cause them, one of the most common reasons is a build up of dead skin cells.
As we get older, our skin’s natural renewal cycle slows down, causing skin to be unable to shed off surface dead cells effectively. This not only causes an uneven skin texture, it also results in dullness and dryness. It also prevents the nutrients your skincare from being properly absorbed. To help our skin along, it’s recommended to regularly exfoliate our faces. However, if you have sensitive or acne-prone complexions, scrubbing can irritate skin and worsen the problem.
To address this issue, Laneige is launching the Clear C Peeling line. The range helps to gently smooth out skin texture with natural alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) fruit acid derived from sugar maple, sugarcane, orange, lemon and bilberry. These AHAs are able to quickly penetrate skin to soften dead skin cells and speed up skin’s natural exfoliation process.
Another essential ingredient in the range is the Super Berry extract, a complex infused with acerola and acai berry extracts, stabilised with the Korean brand’s exclusive silicium capturing technology. The cocktail is said to be able to have triple the amount of antioxidants as regular vitamin C to give you a clear, glowing complexion.
The Clear C Peeling collection consists of two products, a serum and a mask, and will pre-launch at Robinsons Glasshouse at Raffles City from 3-9 April and available at all Laneige boutiques and counters from 10 April 2017.
