Beat The Heat With The Latest Crop Of Lightweight Moisturisers

by SOFIA KIM  /   May 2, 2018

A moisturiser is a must-have to keep your complexion hydrated, but adding a layer of cream when you have oily or combination complexions may not be the most comfortable. These new lightweight moisturisers are great for those with such skin types as it absorbs quickly and does not leave your skin looking or feeling heavy or overly greasy.

Targeted at women aged 25-35, this is inspired by neuroscience to help boost skin’s responsiveness. It contains tea, pearl and citrus unshiu peel extracts to hydrate and suppress carbonylation (the oxidation of protein side chains) in the skin, boosting overall radiance and luminosity. Taking cues from traditional Japanese tea ceremonies, the lightweight packaging evokes the forms of handcrafted Japanese tea bowls, designed to fit naturally in your hands for a sense of comfort.

The star ingredient in this new moisturiser is the Micro Oil Gel Cream Capsule Technology that combines millions of Miracle Broth (found in all of the brand’s products to hydrate, recharge and reduce signs of inflammation), Miracle Broth Oil and moisture droplets that contain creme emollients. It also has antioxidant-rich lime tea concentrate to defend skin from environmental stressors such as pollution.

This is infused with a blend of aqua minerals that help direct the flow of water to maintain balanced moisture levels while improving water absorption to boost firmness and elasticity. Belgium hot spring water and natural barrier complex remove impurities from pores and provides soothing and antibacterial benefits.
