Buzz and anticipation loom in the air every time YSL Beauty launches new limited cushion compacts. This time, the brand draws inspiration from a circle bag to create a quilted leather cushion compact packaging. The black leather looks and feels superior. Just imagine all the envious look you will get whenever you take it out of your purse to touch up your makeup.
The cushion compact is already sold in Singapore via YSL Beauty counters in locations such as Ion Orchard, VivoCity, Takashimaya S.C. as well as online via the websites of Tangs, Metro, Isetan, and BHG.
French parfumerie Diptyque has partnered with Jean-Michel Othoniel to launch a limited-edition rose scent, Othoniel Rosa. Diptyque’s fragrances are known to be inspired by different paintings, with each scent being unique and different from the others. Othoniel creates with black paint and white paper, harkening a similar spirit to the scent label while exemplifying the beauty and grace of roses.
Besides rose, the perfume also contains notes of pink pepper, yellow sunflower seeds, akigalawood and vetiver, which gives the scent a low-key understated aroma. The brand has also launched a scented candle version.
The collection is sold at Dipytyque counters in Takashimaya and Robinsons The Heeren, as well as at Escentials at Tangs at Tang Plaza or via its website.
In continuation of their foray into the cosmetics world, Hermes has launched three limited rose-coloured Rouge Hermes lipsticks for the fall/winter season. They are Rose Ombre #45, Rose Pommette #32 and Rose Nuit #54. And in the spirit of the brand’s ethos, the three lipsticks will be housed in unique and environmentally-friendly packaging.
The three limited lipsticks will be sold from Oct at the maison’s Liat Towers and Marina Bay Sands boutiques as well as the counter at Takashimaya S.C.. You can also purchase it via Hermes’ Singapore website.
Shiseido has dropped new limited packaging for the Ultimune Defense Refresh Mist and Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate. The design incorporates special elements from Ginza, Tokyo while retaining the brand’s classic red colour, resulting in an energetic and lively packaging. The products can be purchased via Shiseido counters.
Korean luxury skincare label The History of Whoo has launched amazing gift boxes in recent years. This year marks their fifth edition with a box jointly created by local silverware artist. The resulting Phoenix gift box is a trifecta of beautiful skin, culture and art.
The Hwanyu Ultimate Youth Cream uses the brand’s proprietary formula under the principles of the five elements. It contains over 70 premium oriental herbs including wild ginseng and cordyceps to help you balance and improve the skin’s quality and promote skin bounce and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
French label Chantecaille has recently opened their flagship store in Tangs. Besides retailing their top-selling products, they have also opened the Spa Cabin. Due to the viral pandemic, they aren’t able to start skincare treatment services yet. The store design is based around wood and is decorated with animal pictures, showcasing the brand’s animal and environmental protection.
Chantecaille has worked with home decor artist John Derian to launch a limited edition set that is sold here. The line, which drops yearly, is centred around the Rose de Mai and features elegant rose-inspired bottles and trays.
Origins popular mushroom line has unveiled a new packaging created by esteemed illustrator Bruno Grizzo. The design features an abstract Chaga mushroom to the existing packaging, adding new life to the bottle. The products are sold at Origins boutiques islandwide as well as Sephora and their flagship boutique on Lazada.
Natural skincare label Neal’s Yard Remedies has partnered for a limited edition collab with Hong Kong fashion label Tove & Libra. The collection includes Neal’s Yard Remedies specially formulated fabric spray, alcohol antibacterial wipes, masks and hand sanitisers all packaged in special Tove & Libra bags made with recycled fabrics.
