Lip Oils: We Love Oils For Our Face So Why Not For Our Puckers

Pucker up for the latest lip care – lip oils. They provide all the benefits of a balm… plus more.

by Moh Shuying  /   February 3, 2020

It’s no secret that we’re big fans of facial oils. After all, not only are they extremely moisturising and nourishing, they are also rich in fatty acids, antioxidants and omegas to treat and repair your skin. And if that’s not enough, oils also form a protective layer to prevent moisture loss, so your skin stays hydrated for longer.

Since we’re such big fans of facial oils, it’s natural that we’ll love lip oils as well since they have so many similar benefits. For one, they are extremely hydrating and even help to soften the appearance of fine lines on your puckers. They also combine the benefits of a balm and a gloss: you get a gorgeous shine AND nourishing and anti-ageing benefits.

They are also great if you’re constantly in an air-conditioned environment, as the oils will help prevent your puckers from drying. And if you’re worried that they’re feel greasy or tacky, don’t be. All the lip oils we’ve come across have been lightweight and glide over skin like a dream.

Another reason to try out lip oils? Many of them come with a tinted option. And we’re not talking a wash of colour that’s so subtle you can barely see it. Lip oils give a really pretty tint that’s perfect mix of a stain and a gloss.

So if you’re planning to start oiling up, here are some of our favourites to check out.
