Beauty junkies rejoice: brands have been coming out with fun collaborative skincare and makeup collections that feature a wide array of products (and some even in the cutest packagings). Here, we pick out five we are loving now.
The American beauty brand has just hit a huge milestone and to celebrate it, the brand has released one of the most Instagrammable limited edition makeup collections yet. It comprises eight different products that all come in a luxurious gold packaging including its Tattoo Liner in Trooper Black ($32); Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick in Sante Sangre ($30), Everlasting Glimmer Veil in Gold Skool ($35) and Metal Krush Highlighter in Gold Skool as well ($44). It also features an all-new eyeshadow palette ($76) that features 16 bold, colourful matte, metallic and shimmer shades, as well as a brush collection ($170).
Additionally, the brand also released a new campaign that features 10 muses of all backgrounds, ages and skin tones, who represent the many faces of the brand including her very own mother, Los Angeles-based musician and founder of Prayers Leafer Seyer and Berlin-based supermodel Melanie.
Innisfree first launched its Eco-Handkerchief Campaign eight years ago as part of its conservation efforts to persuade people to use a handkerchief instead of a disposable tissue, in a bid to reduce woodcutting, which in turn saves Mother Nature. The fruitful campaign always included a limited edition collection – and it’s no different this year. Its newest designs revolve around the theme of “Play Green Everywhere” and feature three trendy-chic illustrations, each depicting a different environment: city, sea and forest. The collection consists of the brand’s Green Tea Balancing Skin ($35), Green Tea Seed Cream ($48), Green Tea Seed Serum ($49), Green Tea Sleeping Mask ($13) and three My Palette cases ($10 each).
Every year, popular Korean beauty brand The Face Shop will team up with a fun collaborator (it previously worked with Disney and The Simpsons) for a range of makeup products that come in the most Instagram-worthy packaging. This year, the brand has partnered with Coca-Cola to release a series of products that include its Oil Control Water Cushion ($33), Oil Clear Pact ($15), Coke Polar Bear Lip Tint ($21), Coca-Cola Lip Stick ($20), Coca-Cola Lip Tint ($17) and Mono Pop Eyes ($35). Bonus: the lippies in the entire range feature the drink’s scent for a sweet surprise.
Besides its Play Green Limited Edition Collection, the brand has revealed an extensive range of makeup products known as the Smart Drawing Makeup Collection. Designed to look like a paint tube ($12.50 each), each product features a built-in brush applicator to allow for maximum control for a precise application. The entire range encompasses foundations, concealers, blushers, contour shades and colour correctors. Its creamy, longlasting formulas are super blendable, easy to work with and do not settle into any fine lines and wrinkles.
While Three may be more known for its natural and healing skincare and makeup products, its newest range features bright and playful makeup colours that are still very wearable for day to day. Its Shimmering Lip Jam ($43 each) are available in four vibrant shades (from pinks to oranges) and is made with a non-sticky formula for comfortable wear. We are also loving the Captivating Performance Fluid Eyeliner ($48 each) that comes in five unique shades including teal and burgundy. Its smudge, waterproof and long-lasting formula makes it ideal when travelling to warmer countries. Lastly, the Atmospheric Definition Mascara ($55) now comes with two new shades and a waterproof formula so you won’t look like a panda at the end of the day.
