When it comes to skincare, we’re of the school of thought that taking preventative steps is more beneficial for one’s skin health than trying to fix problems after they’ve cropped up. It’s the same train of thinking that powers Chanel’s newest skincare and makeup range, Nº1 de Chanel, which places emphasis on being pre-emptive by addressing the early stages of skin ageing.
Senescence – or the biological process of ageing – is the science at the heart of Nº1 de Chanel and the products under this range are all designed to renew your skin’s vitality (through various extracts of the red camellia plant, the collection’s hero ingredient).
Two new babies have just joined the Nº1 De Chanel skincare family – say hi to the Revitalising Body Serum-in-Mist (left) and Revitalising Essence Lotion.
The range started off with nine products when it first launched this January but it’s now been expanded with two new additions in the form of the Revitalising Essence Lotion and Revitalising Body Serum-in-Mist. Think of the new additions not so much as solo introductions than complementary accompaniments to existing pieces in the collection – the Essence Lotion for example, is meant to be paired with the collection’s signature Revitalising serum for boosted luminousity and plumpness to the skin.
For fans of the range, you’ll be glad to know that both items will hit Chanel Beauty boutiques and counters from August 4 – but if you can’t wait, they’re already available on the Maison’s online store.
