Just when we thought Baby Yoda was the best thing the Star Wars universe blessed us with this year, Pat McGrath – who’s a hardcore Star Wars fan just like all of us FYI – just announced that she’s releasing a collection of makeup inspired by the new film The Rise of Skywalker come Dec 19. Though it might be a UK launch, it’ll also be available on her site (and yes, they ship to Singapore).
The lineup consists of seven products – four lip products and three eyeshadow palettes. Expect the Lip Fetish Lip Balm in Gold Astral (C3PO-inspired), Lip Fetish Lip Balm in Flesh 3, Lip Fetish Lip Balm in Clear (R2D2-inspired) and Lip Fetish Lip Balm in Nude Astral. While the palettes include Mthrship Galactic Gold Palette, Mthrshp Dark Galaxy Palette (Red Sith Trooper-inspired) and Mothership IV: Decadence Star Wars edition. Grab them before they are forever gone to a galaxy far, far away.
For two hours on Black Friday, Foreo’s website faced a glitch where almost 40,000 of its iconic UFO smart mask treatment device went for US$9.99 (S$14) costing the brand over 10 million USD in losses. Throughout the error period, the site was processing an average of five UFO sales every second across over 50 countries globally. At the peak, around an hour and 5 minutes into the glitch – 20
UFOs were being processed per second around the world. Despite the losses, Foreo’s CEO sees this as a blessing in disguise – thanks to them gaining almost 40,000 new customers. So, we’d say that we’re all winning in the end?

The French luxury beauty brand inaugurates its new flagship store in the heart of Paris. Located at 52 Avenue des Champs-Elysee, the place spans over two floors. Made to be a new place for beauty, happiness, experimentation and togetherness, it is part exhibition space part beauty space – what with its hanging rose petals and triple-height ceiling. With a spa area on the first floor, you can also expect a lineup of other brand’s from L’oreal group’s luxury division, including names like Yves Saint Laurent, Kiehl’s and Giorgio Armani.
Rejoice because Milani Cosmetics is now officially Leaping Bunny certified. Though the Los Angeles-born beauty label has always made it a point to be cruelty-free, the fact that it’s now cemented and certified by the globally-recognised standard-bearer further assures us that every step of its production process – from its entire supply chain right down to the ingredient manufacturer level – does not conduct any kind of testing on our furry friends.
Dior’s ultra (and we really mean ultra) lush serum – that costs almost as much as a bag from the brand – is now available in stores. Here’s the catch though: there are only 15 bottles available locally. Made to diminish fine lines, pigmentation, firmness, dullness, it also simultaneously boosts the skin’s hydration levels and fortify’s it against external attacks. We break down this product in detail here.

Sprouting up at Covent Garden, the brand’s first-ever brick and mortar (apart from its counters at Sephora) will be opened till Dec 26 – with ample of time for you to drop by the space for your Christmas shopping if you happen to be travelling to London. Since it’s Huda Beauty, we already expect a long queue for walk-ins. To skip the wait, book 15-minute slots on their site ahead of time. And here’s to wishing that the second iteration will spring up here.
