The 5 Most Innovative Launches From Sephora's Spring/Summer 2020 Drop
Tatcha The Serum Stick, $87
The first solid touch-up balm-serum that we’ve ever come across, this can be used under or over makeup. Infused with skin calming Japanese lemon balm, hydrating squalane and antioxidant-rich Uji green tea, this glides over skin without tugging to refresh and repair skin throughout the day. It provides weightless moisture to instantly erase signs of age and dryness, smooth out your complexion and give you an instantly dewy glow.
Starskin Micro-Filler Hand, $42
The past couple of years, celebs and socialites have been using fillers to make their hands look younger, so of course it would only be a matter of time before a skincare brand launches an at-home treatment to smooth and plump up our hardworking hands. This is a two-step anti-ageing treatment that includes a Hyaluronic Micro-Pyramid filler that creates micro punctures to deliver active ingredients into skin, as well as a pair of mask gloves which is infused with a highly concentrated serum to smooth and plump the wrinkles on the hands.
Skin Gym Face Trainer Beauty Roller, price unavailable
This has a built-in microcurrent solar panel that sends microcurrents through geranium stones to help rebalance skin as you massage your face. It not only helps to firm and de-puff your face, but also helps to boost the efficacy of the rest of your skincare by boosting product penetration. It’s gentle enough to be used daily for about 10 minutes, and can be used with your serum, moisturiser or oil.
Too Faced Born This Way Complexion-inspired Eye Shadow Palette, $69
In the same way SKIMS gave us shapewear that matches all skin tones, this eyeshadow palette takes nude makeup to the next level with a collection of new shades to compliment all complexions. The creamy, buttery and blendable powders are highly pigmented and made skin-loving ingredients like hydrating coconut water, hyaluronic acid and Alpine rose. Each of the 16 eyeshadows are inspired by a shade of Born This Way foundation, and comes in a variety of finishes.
Dr Jart+ Vital Hydra Solution Capsule Ampoule, $33 for six capsules
This looks – and acts like – a prescription for your skin. Great for dry, rough complexions, each ampoule is individually packaged in vacuum capsules for hygienic use. An SOS treatment, it is made with five different molecular sizes of hyaluronic acid to intensely hydrate and fill in the various layers of skin. The watery ampoule is also infused with seaweed secretion extracts to revitalise skin and boost its vitality.
