This New-To-Town Body Care Brand Is Made For The Gen-Z Crowd And Is Big On SPF

It’s time to start investing on products that don’t just do good on your face, but your body too.

by SOFIA KIM  /   September 27, 2020

Multi-hyphenate Charlotte C Pienaar first founded her very own personal care brand called Everyday which is researched and made in Australia using non-toxic ingredients back in July 2019. Fast forward two years on, the brand has undergone a revamp to better position itself as the ultimate SPF-skincare and body care brand, along with a new range of product assortments, updated formulas, IG-worthy packaging and lowered price points. And while the brand was only available Stateside in the beginning, Pienaar is finally launching her brand on Sephora.sg this month.

Now known as Everyday Humans, the brand focuses on the importance of sun care by curating a range of SPF and body care products that feature clean, safe and effective formulas with multi-functional purposes. After all, sun protection is something we need every day: we are constantly exposed to UV rays, environmental aggressors and free radicals which can cause serious damage to our skin giving rise to aged spots, dryness and a weakened skin barrier.

What else we love about the brand is its eco-conscious packaging and ethical practices. The brand emphasises greener alternatives for its packaging, which include using post-consumer recycled plastic for its tubes and print with environmentally-friendly soy-based ink just to name a few. Plus, it also only sources from manufacturers and suppliers that strictly do not test on animals.

Everyday Humans is now available on Sephora Asia Pacific online and on their website, www.everyday-humans.com, which ships island-wide and across Asia Pacific.

Resting Beach Face SPF30 Sunscreen Serum, $39

A lightweight, fast-absorbing sunscreen that doubles up as a serum? Consider us intrigued. This is fortified with spinach and antioxidant-rich green tea to neutralise free radicals and protect the skin from UV rays, pollution and other harmful environmental aggressors. Hyaluronic acid is also included into the formula to deliver optimum hydration. What else we love about it: It does not feel sticky or greasy post-application.

Rose S’il Vous Plait SPF30 Gentle Mineral Sunscreen, $39

Ideal for those with oilier or blemish-prone skin types, this mineral-based sunscreen is said to give a velvety matte finish without clogging pores. Rose extract, aloe water and vitamin E work together to regulate skin’s moisture-sebum balance and soothe any troubled spots or inflammation.

Oh My Bod! SPF50 Body Sunscreen, $28

Used as a daily body lotion, this does not just protect the skin against UV rays but also pollution and other free radicals thanks to a blend of green tea, hyaluronic acid and cucumber extracts. It has a featherlight texture that absorbs quickly into the skin to give a matte finish. Plus, it reportedly stays water-resistant for up to 80 minutes post-application. What is also great about this is that it even acts as an after-sun care recovery treatment by soothing and calming any sensitivity.

No Problemo Pre & Post-Sun Water, TBC

This doubles up as both a soothing after-sun remedy and a midday pick-me-up spritz to revitalise and replenish parched, dull or sun-stressed complexions. Ideal for both face and body, this contains cucumber water, cactus extract and aloe juice to deliver antioxidants, vitamins and electrolytes deep into the skin to hydrate, refresh and recharge.
