The Chanel Makeup Creation Studio takes an unprecedented step in creating a full makeup collection that focuses on complimenting your individual skintone. For the Fall/Winter 2022 season, Chanel beauty has focused on colour expertise and coordination, developing lip and nail products that match the shades of its Ultra Le Teint Fluide foundation, which was launched in 2019. A total of 12 new Rouge Allure lipstick and Le Vernis nail polish shades have been unveiled, ranging from light pink to dusty plum, with half developed for rosy undertones, and the other developed for golden undertones. The finished look is a monochrome, flawless face, complemented by a matching subtle lip and natural-coloured, lacquered nails.
Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2022 Rouge Allure ($56) and Le Vernis ($43) collections are available at all Chanel Fragrance and Beauty boutiques and counters, as well as on the brand’s e-shop
Launched in 2018, Guerlain’s original anti-ageing serum was an instant success thanks to its ability to renew and repair skin in a single step. Using its latest skincare technology, the anti-ageing serum is reworked for a better, more effective formula for this year. The Abielle Royale Double R Renew & Repair Advanced Serum ($335 for 50ml) uses repairing properties from natural honey and enhances this new serum with enriching acids like AHAs and PHAs. The combination of these ingredients allows for smoother, softer, radiant skin.
The serum is available at Guerlain’s stores and counters at Ion Orchard, Tangs Orchard, Takashimaya S.C., Metro Paragon and Sephora outlets at Ion Orchard, Takashimaya S.C. and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands
Perfumer Penhaligon’s introduces a perfume steeped in the racing tradition as part of its ongoing British Tales Collection. Called Sports Car Club ($300), it is an aromatic scent bursting with notes of pink peppercorns and eucalyptus as well as cypress, patchouli and luxurious leather. The fragrance is packaged into a racing-themed bottle, tied with a black and white check bow, and sporting a green car motif that matches the perfume’s rich green colour. And like a customised car number plate, Penhaligon’s lets you engrave your initials on the perfume bottle.
The limited-edition perfume is available at Penhaligon’s stores
It’s a battle for our skin everyday, with second-hand smoke, pollution and sun rays as some of the biggest causes of skin barrier breakdown. And vitamin C is the solution to these problems. Skincare brand, Dr Dennis Gross developed the Vitamin C Lactic range, combining the ingredient and lactic acid to produce skincare that evens and repairs the face, for a serum ($130), eye cream treatment ($104) and dewy deep cream ($114). Apply the serum to any uneven or dark tones to brighten the face, and eye cream to reduce puffiness. Finish with the dew deep cream, enhanced with niacinamide and squalane, which are known for their anti-ageing and repairing properties.
The Vitamin C Lactic range will be launching exclusively at Sephora stores and its e-store from August 22
