Dramatic bold eyeshadows and dreamy ‘fox eyes’ are just some of the things you can pull off with Dior’s long-running high-performance Diorshow collection. For the first time in the collection’s history, more natural formulas are being used for a new 26-product line that span eyeshadows, mascaras and brow gel. The key ingredient used here? A blue flower extract which is known for its soothing properties for the eyes and skin. If you’re in the mood for a sultry eyeshadow look, be sure to check out the 5 Couleurs Couture palette ($108) in velvety shades and finish off with a On Stage Liner ($52) which now boasts 14 new colours in satiny, matte, and pearly finishes.
The new Diorshow collection will be available at all Dior Beauty boutiques and counters from July 1 as well as the Dior Beauty Online Boutique from June 27
The Rouge Allure lipcare line by Chanel, which launched in 2006, is expanding. The newest addition to the family is Rouge Allure L’Extrait ($73), which will hit shelves on July 1. Spanning a spectrum of 20 highly pigmented hues from an intense beige to fiery red to deep pink, the line also promises satiny high-shine factor thanks to ingredients with powerful light-reflecting properties. Meanwhile, the hydrating formula contains ume flower enfleurage oil and plant waxes and can reportedly keep puckers moisturised for up to 12 hours. Rouge Allure L’Extrait also holds the honour as the first refillable lipcare line by Chanel – the case has been designed to house refill cartridges.
The Rouge Allure L’Extrait will be available via the Chanel Fragrance & Beauty E-Shop and at Chanel Fragrance & Beauty boutiques and counters

There are plenty of reasons why the YSL Beauty pop up that is happening at Ion Orchard is worth checking out. The space has been converted into a hot spot for all things Libre, the gender-bending scent created by perfumer Anne Flippo in 2019 that took cues from classic men’s lavender perfumes called fougere. Besides getting your hands on the fragrance at the space, you can also receive a six piece beauty kit that includes a 1.2 ml vials of the Libre and Mon Paris Floral eau de parfums and a limited-edition beauty mirror when you snap and share a picture at the event’s photobooth. Other attractions include the sale of six new shades for the brand’s popular Rouge Pur Couture Slim Velvet Radical lipstick line and an engraving service for your perfume bottles and lipsticks.
YSL Beauty #IAmLibre Pop Up runs from June 24 to June 29 at Ion Orchard Level 1 Atrium
If genderless scents are more your speed, Gucci Beauty has a duo of tantalising perfumes for you to consider from its premium The Alchemist’s Garden range. Tears From The Moon ($520 for 100ml) is an airy floral concoction containing notes of white peony, lily of the valley perfume and Madagascar jasmine. For a woody and warm scent, consider Love At Your Darkest ($520 for 100ml) which is a woody and intense blend of black pepper, incense and cedarwood.
