The Miss Dior perfume is by nature a celebration of florals. It’s a scent that’s dedicated to Christian Dior’s sister Catherine who was an avid gardener. The new Rose Essence amps up the rose facet of the scent by using the entire 2021 harvest of May roses from Domaine de Manon, a flower cultivator in Grasse that works exclusively with Dior. It’s a big coup as far as high quality raw ingredients go, and this special edition of Miss Dior is presented with a label detailing the 2021 vintage of its roses. To balance out the voluptuousness of these May roses, the perfume is created in an eau de toilette concentration that allows the entire floral bouquet to sparkle with vibrance.

The first ever liquid lipsticks from Gucci have a transformative formula, which dries down quickly to a matte and transfer-proof finish. The nine sunset-inspired shades – which include nude, red, orange, pink, red and plum options – are formulated with black rose oil, hyaluronic acid and infusions of vitamin E that provide nourishing lip care. That means the highly pigmented colours feel lightweight and comfortable on the lips and go on without settling into creases and lines.

Cult Australian skincare brand Rationale has launched a gel mask that’s part of its Clarity line. While the brand strongly recommends in-person consultations so they have a handle of your skin concerns, this one is easy enough to appreciate without help. It’s formulated with a complex of actives like lactic and salicylic acid; and a hyaluronic acid booster that decongests pores and hydrates the skin. There’s even piroctone olamine, which reduces inflammation and balances the skin microbiome. This mask is also said to adjust the skin’s pH levels to an acidic one so that the improved acid barrier facilitates a more even and radiant complexion. 20 minutes on the skin, once a week, is the recommended usage.
