July is the hottest month of the year – and just in time, Australian SPF brand Ultra Violette is in Singapore with its lightweight sun protection products. If you’re staying indoors, though, be sure to check out Jo Malone’s new collection of home fragrances. For more beauty finds, get out and about and visit Aesop’s new store at Tampines, or SK-II’s pop-up at Jem.
Take it from sunscreen experts Ultra Violette to perfect the ultimate SPF formula that protects our skin. After years of toggling with the formula in its native Australia, the brand has debuted in Singapore, bringing along with it its signature Skinscreen SPF products including a lightweight, moisturising sunscreen that feels like skincare, while acting like sunscreen to shield your face from harmful UV rays. Say goodbye to that sticky sunscreen feel and that unflattering white cast.
Ultra Violette range span a luminising serum ($55), facial sunscreen ($52), zinc sunscreen ($52), gel sunscreen for sensitive skin ($48), and lip balm ($26). They are available in-store at Sephora and online at sephora.sg
There are plenty of perfumes for a day out, but Jo Malone‘s Night Collection is perfect for a night in. The range is designed to enhance the feeling of evening, using the scents of lavender, moonflower and camomile. English lavender and moonflower feature in the Lavender & Moonflower Pillow Mist ($78) for a calming sleep as well as the Lavender & Moonflower Home Candle ($120) and Lavender & Moonflower Diffuser ($167) to scent the home. And if you love the sweet and fresh aroma of camomile, that calming scent is available in a light evening cologne ($240).
The Night Collection is available at all Jo Malone London stores, selected Sephora outlets and Sephora.sg or via Jo Malone London Concierge Service
Eastsiders are really spoilt for choice this month, with beauty boutiques in abundance. Australian skincare brand Aesop unveils its new signature store in Tampines Mall. Created by Aesop’s in-house Design Team, the store features architecture inspired by Singapore‘s flora and fauna, like a pebble wash floor and yellow accents as an homage to the city’s mosaic playgrounds. Try sample products at its hand-cast pebble wash island counter, complete with wash basins. Or, explore its skincare sanctuary and fragrance library. Lower wash basins have also been added for easier accessibility to children. And if you’re ever in need of rest while browsing the store’s botanical skincare products, just take a break at the circular seating area.
Aesop Tampines is located at #01-08/09 Tampines Mall
Tom Ford’s Soleil Summer Collection 2022 will be sure to keep you looking golden. The Soleil Sheer Cheek Duo ($132) acts as a highlighter and blush with a peachy hue for you to perfect that golden hour glow. Complete the look with the Soleil Eye and Cheek Palette ($255) and Soleil Brulant Shimmering Body Oil ($175), formulated in rose-gold and gold shimmering shades.
This collection is stocked at Tangs at Tang Plaza, Takashimaya D.S, Sephora and Sephora.sg
