Each mask is said to contain the same amount of serum as one full bottle of the brand’s Whitening Power Spots Specialist, so you know you’re getting your money’s worth. This is also infused with pitera, which contains vitamin C and niacinamide, to effectively and immediately brighten skin.

#2: For Beloved One Melasleep Whitening Ethyl Ascorbic Acid Boi-Celluslose Mask, $63 for a pack of three, Sephora

A favourite amongst Asian celebrities (Taiwanese actress Barbie Tsu is said to apply a sheet every day), this is formulated with a gentle whitening agent known as ethyl ascorbic acid, which penetrates into the deeper layers of skin to control melanin formation. It is also made with the brand’s Melaslow complex, which brightens skin tone. A patented anti-allergenic ingredient is also added to strengthen skin’s defence and boost its overall health.

#3: La Mer Blanc de la Mer The Brilliance White Mask, $440

This two-step treatment comprises of a Soothing Primer and Gel Cream. The former contains algae, vitamins and nutrients to soothe and calm skin while the latter is made with the brand’s Vital Brilliance Ferment to treat dullness and stubborn spots. Just one use will have your complexion looking healthier and brighter.
