Singapore Design Week is back for its third edition and runs till March 20. We pick out the events you can’t miss and that everyone – design buff or not – will appreciate. By Isabel Ong.
The theme this year is ‘Thoughtful Design’, and the trails will bring you on a journey to discover products and experiences in which every aspect has been thoroughly and carefully planned, from its source to the processes and the values it upholds. Running from Mar 7-13, the annual design fest carries the theme ‘Senses – The Art and Science of Experiences’ this year, and showcases design elements that encompass scent, texture, visuals, sound and taste. On now: Sharing sessions, tours of spaces like STPI and Brewerkz ($39 each) this weekend, and a slew of installations by top-notch outfits like Lekker Architects and other local artists.
