#1: Ballet Under The Stars (1 - 10 Sep)

Enjoy an enchanting evening of performances by the Singapore Dance Theatre while picnicking under the stars, as the long-running outdoor dance event returns for its 22nd edition. The event is structured around two themes this year – more contemporary and eclectic showings from 1 – 3 Sep, and classical performances revolving around the stories of three weddings from 8 – 10 Sep. 7-10pm, Fort Canning Park. $35 per ticket

#2: Michael Learns to Rock - Eternal Asia Tour: Singapore (2 Sep)

The award-winning Danish pop band will be back in town after a two-year absence as part of their Asia tour that will see them stopping at Singapore, KL and Manila. Since the band’s formation in 1988, the trio has sold more than 11 million physical albums, and their hit song ‘Take Me To Your Heart’ was awarded the most downloaded single in 2006. 7-9pm, Singapore Indoor Stadium, 2 Stadium Walk. $78-$168 per ticket

#3: West Side Story (13 Sep - 1 Oct)

The award-winning Broadway musical will be back in Singapore come September, featuring an all-American cast who’ll be belting out classic hits such as Maria, Tonight, America and I Feel Pretty. Based on Shakespeare’s famous tragic love story, Romeo and Juliet, the musical revolves around a pair of star-crossed lovers living in New York City in the mid 1950s. Grand Theatre, MasterCard Theatres at Marina Bay Sands, 10 Bayfront Avenue. $55-$185 per ticket

#4: Singapore Grand Prix (15 - 17 Sep)

The 10th edition of the Singapore GP will once again see a slew of big-name stars taking on the Padang Stage, with previous music headliners including Katy Perry, Rihanna and Queen. This year’s lineup comprise the likes of American pop band OneRepublic, breakout EDM duo The Chainsmokers, American singer Ariana Grande as well as DJ/producer Calvin Harris, who will be closing the show. Marina Bay Street Circuit. From $128 per ticket for a Single-Day Grandstands ticket

#5: Halloween Horror Nights 7 (29 Sep - 29 Oct)

This year’s Halloween Horror Nights has a theme inspired by its 7th edition – the whole experience will revolve around the seven deadly sins, namely Cruelty, Deception, Malice, Manipulation, Narcissism, Perversion and Obsession. Expect the usual haunted houses and scary rides, but for those who want something more, check out the new Zombie Laser Tag Experience. 730pm-1230/130am, Universal Studios Singapore, 8 Sentosa Gateway. From $50 per ticket
