#1: STPI Annual Special Exhibition - David Hockney: A Matter of Perspective (1 Jul - 9 Sep)

To continue its 15th anniversary celebrations, STPI Gallery will showcase a carefully curated selection of works by British artist David Hockney. The exhibition of 36 pieces are drawn mostly from the Singapore Art Museum Collection, and shows how the celebrated artist continues to push the boundaries of print techniques. STPI – Creative Workshop & Gallery, 41 Robertson Quay

#2: LEW - Lullacry Album Launch (5 Jul)

LEW is a local singer-songwriter who was the recipient of the Noise Singapore Award in 2015. Largely inspired by acoustic and folk tunes, the artiste is releasing a brand new thirteen-track album, composed of songs that describe the true nature of love: complex, beautiful and painful. 7-10pm, Esplanade Annexe Studio, 1 Esplanade Drive. $18 / $20 (doors) per ticket

#3: Tanjong Goodman (8 Jul)

Hosted by Goodman Arts Centre, this one-day only arts event is back again, this time featuring the centre’s resident artists in over 50 programmes. Besides the performances and workshops, also check out the popular Tanjong Goodman Weekend Market, where more than 30 stalls will offer the best artisanal food and crafts. 11-5pm, Goodman Arts Centre, 90 Goodman Road. Admission is free

#4: Weird Wonderful World - Picnic Day by Tiong Bahru Bakery (8 & 9 Jul)

In conjuction with Heritage Festival at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the popular cafe and bakery is hosting a picnic over the weekend featuring good food, great music and various activities. Expect other popular F&B outfits such as Common Man Coffee Roasters and Open Farm Community to have pop-ups too. 3-8pm, Singapore Botanic Gardens, 1 Cluny Road

#5: Asian Film Focus 2017 - Time Machine (12 - 15 Jul)

Presented by Objectifs, this year’s edition of the Asian Film Focus explores notions of archival and found footage in the context of contemporary filmmaking in Asia, highlighting works from Vietnam, India, the Philippines and Singapore. Apart from film screenings, there will also be dialogue sessions with filmmakers, film curators, and writers. Objectifs Centre for Photography and Film, 155 Middle Road. $5 per ticket

#6: Singapore Tea Festival (22 - 23 Jul)

There is the Singapore Coffee Festival, and now it’s time for tea to take centre stage. The inaugural Singapore Tea Festival will feature various local tea brands such as The 1872 Clipper Tea Company, Juan Tea and Pin Tea – enjoy your Earl Grey or Oolong alongside tea-inspired dishes or a slew of tea workshops and activities. B4 Ion Station, Ion Orchard

#7: The xx - I See You Tour: Singapore (25 July)

After a four-year absence from our sunny shores, British indie pop band The XX is returning to Singapore as they tour in support of their newest album, I See You. Fans are in for a treat, as the trio is also bringing over Sampha, the acclaimed British singer-songwriter and producer, as their opening act. 7-10pm, Singapore Indoor Stadium, 2 Stadium Walk. $98 – $148 per ticket
