Didn’t manage to leave for the long weekend? Here’s some cool new bar to chill out.
This new establishment is the sister to popular nightlife joint Commas and is located just right beside it at Suntec City’s Sky Garden. With an alfresco setting and an 80s Miami-themed decor (of course), this is the perfect spot to hang out with your best pals on a weekend. And if you’re itching to hit the dancefloor, the club is less than 100 meters away. Bonus: it will be offering great deals on draft beers ($5 for a Hite Pale Lager pint) as well as Macallan bottle deals. #03-308 Suntec City Sky Garden
Once reserved for special occasions and one-off events, PS.Cafe Ann Siang Hill has finally opened its Attic Lounge Bar all week long. With intimate hidden corners, a large expansive outdoor terrace and sweeping city views, this is going to be your next go-to hangout spot for post-work drinks and weekend wind-downs. In celebration of this, PS.Cafe’s Attic Lounge Bar is launching a daily happy hour (4-7pm) with a carefully curated drinks selection offering a host of premium brands starting from $10++, from Veuve Clicquot Yellow Brut Champagne and Peroni Lager to Bombay Sapphire Gin and Appleton Estate Rum. Wine will be available as well, including Villa Sandi’s Valdobbiadene Prosecco and red, white and rose wines from the iconic Spanish vineyard Marques de Riscal. 45 Ann Siang Road
It’s a trek to get there so make it an afternoon-to-night drinking session. This bar-grill destination located at the scenic Sentosa Golf Club sits on a prime spot looking out to the Singapore Straits and offers a robust range of meats (done on an asador no less), seafood and of course, drinks. The iconic American 50:50 Martini is made with Tanqueray No. Ten gin and house vermouth, sealed with a dash of orange bitters. The White Wine Sangria is a summer-friendly concoction of pisco, sauvignon blanc, Cointreau and an array of tropical fruits. Our last pick? The Champagne and Absinthe Colada — a tropical blend of Appleton rum, coconut and pineapple juice, perked up with absinthe and a splash of bubbly. Sentosa Golf Club, 27 Bukit Manis Road
It might not be new but Tanjong Beach Club has recently refreshed its cocktail menu and we are seriously digging it. The list of tropical concoctions include a Malayan Mai Tai, a local spin on the classic drink with house-infused rum and a secret blend of pandan and tropical flavours, as well as the Captain’s Trove – a group-serve cocktail served in a treasure chest.
