#1: The Bronx - July 2018 Edition ft S.O.F, Mr Boo and Fvder (6 July, Friday)

A night dedicated to R&B, old school and new age hip-hop music? Count us in. The upcoming edition of The Bronx held at Canvas will be helmed by homegrown DJs – and hip-hop authorities – Sounds of Fai (better known as S.O.F, who’s also a resident of the club) and Fvder (formerly at Cherry Discotheque), together with hypeman Mr. Boo. P/S: its free entry for ladies before 1am. #B1-01 20 Upper Circular Road, 10pm till 3am. Tickets are priced at $25 

#2: One Dance presents Firebeatz, supported by Hong (14 July, Saturday)

Dutch music producing duo Firebeatz (their real names are Tim Smulders and Jurre van Doeselaa) will be taking over the decks of Singapore’s superclub next Friday. And if you love electro house, then this is the absolute treat for you. Having collaborated with huge names such as Martin Garrix and Calvin Harris, this will be a night filled with head bangers and chart toppers. 3C River Valley Road. 9pm-4am. Tickets are priced at $35 for ladies and $45 for men

#3: Sin City Presents Scorpion Album Launch Party with Nash D, supported by Kohsh and Kaycza (13 July, Friday)

Yes, another hip-hop occasion you can’t miss – particularly so if you’re a fan of @champagnepapi (read: Drake).  Sin City has collaborated with Universal Music Singapore to celebrate the launch of the rapper’s hotly anticipated album, Scorpion. In line with the featured musician, expect a repertoire of favourite hits from previous albums as well as drops from the latest all through the night. P/S: if you haven’t heard of After Dark, do give it a listen. 3C River Valley Road. 9pm-4am. Tickets are priced at $30 for ladies and $40 for men

#4: Urban Ventures x Street Party (7 July, Saturday)

Popular street party Urban Ventures will finally turn 10 this Saturday and of course, it’s lined up with a slew of exciting live DJ acts and performances. There will also be various food pop-up stores (you can get your acai fix at Coocaca) and an underground market. What else to expect: yoga on the streets, salsa in an alfresco setting and an artisans market. Temple Street

#5: G-Shock Origins Presents Transmission (7 July, Saturday)

Not only does this party celebrate the legacy of the G-Shock DW-5600, which is widely considered as an iconic and original G-Shock model, it also features some of the best homegrown hip-hop tastemakers such as Mean XS, Yung Raja and Axel Brizzy. #B1-01 20 Upper Circular Road, 10pm till 3am. Tickets are priced at $35
