IPHONE 13 AND IPHONE 13 MINI

The next-generation iPhone 13 and 13 mini follow the same design language as last year’s iPhone 12, with sleek flat edges. There are five colours now – (Product)Red, starlight, midnight, blue and pink.

The new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini start at 128Gb storage, up from their previous 64Gb. They also feature the sensor-shift optical image stabilisation (basically in-body stabilization), which was only previously featured in the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The battery life has also been extended, with the iPhone 13 offering up to 2.5 more hours compared to the iPhone 12 in a day, and the iPhone 13 mini providing up to 1.5 hours more than iPhone 12 mini.

The new camera system also supports Cinematic mode – where the camera automatically shifts focus. This can be changed during and after capture.

iPhone 13 starts at $1,299 and iPhone 13 mini starts at $1,149

IPHONE 13 PRO AND IPHONE 13 PRO MAX

The iPhone 13 Pro and Phone 13 Pro Max are now fitted with a Super Retina XDR display that features a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Along with it comes ProMotion, which offers an adaptive refresh rate of between 10 to 120Hz depending on how you are interacting with your iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Similar to the iPhone 13 series, there is also Cinematic mode – but there is also ProRes, a video codec that offers higher colour fidelity and less compression.

It now comes in four finishes – graphite, gold, silver and a new sierra blue. The camera lenses have also been improved, notably with the Ultra Wide camera which is now able to unlock macro photography. Storage capacity now comes at a maximum of 1TB, up from its previous 512MB.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max offers the longest battery life ever in an iPhone, lasting up to 1.5 hours longer in a day than iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max will last up to 2.5 hours longer than iPhone 12 Pro Max.

The iPhone 13 Pro starts at $1,649 and the iPhone 13 Pro Max starts at $1,799

Apple
IPAD (9TH GENERATION)
image

The latest iPad features the A13 bionic chip and a 10.2-inch Retina display. The 12MP Ultra Wide front camera is able to support Centre Stage, previously only available on the iPad Pro. Centre Stage allows you to have more engaging video call experiences, where the camera automatically pans the camera to keep users in view. The iPad also supports the first-generation Apple Pencil, allowing you more options to work, learn and play.

The iPad starts at $499 for the Wi-Fi models and $699 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular models

IPAD MINI

The iPad mini may be small in size, but it packs quite a punch. Starting with an all-new design that mimics the iPad Air, the iPad mini’s curves have given way to flat edges. The Touch ID button has also been shifted to the top, similar to that of the iPad Air. The Lightning port has been updated to USB-C, a much-favoured change as this means your iPad mini would now be compatible with a host of both Apple and third-party accessories available in the market.

The A15 Bionic chip makes the iPad mini 80 percent faster than its predecessor. It also features a 12MP front-facing camera like the iPad and supports Centre Stage as well. The iPad mini is compatible with the second-generation Apple Pencil, so you can jot down your ideas quickly and easily. The iPad mini also supported 5G connectivity for faster connectivity on the go.

The iPad mini starts at $749 for the Wi-Fi models and $979 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular models.

Apple
Watch Series 7
image

Every so often, we see an update to the screen size of the Apple Watch, and just when we thought the screen couldn’t get any bigger, the new Watch Series 7 proves us wrong. Boasting a screen area with even thinner bezels, the Watch Series 7 has a rounder and softer appearance, with the screen edges following the curvature of the glass.

The Watch Series 7 features a more crack-resistant front crystal that’s 500 percent thicker than that of the Watch Series 6. It has an IP6X certification against dust, and a WR50 water resistance rating. It still retains amazing health monitoring features like electrical heart sensor, Blood Oxygen Monitor, ECG and fall detection.

The user interface has also been updated, notably with the QWERTY keyboard on the watch face which you can use to respond quickly to text messages or emails. The Aluminum case features midnight, starlight, green, and a new blue and (PRODUCT)RED. There are also stainless steel models in silver, graphite and gold. The Watch Series 7 is backwards compatible with all previous releases of their Apple Watch bands.

Apple Watch Series 7 will be available later this fall.
