They’re one of the most underrated names in the local artisan scene yet their skills are the real deal – Chan spent years learning the indigo dye trade in Tokushima, Japan and now they’re holding workshops where you can expect to learn the basics to indigo dyeing. South Korean artist Lee Sea Hyun is famous for his signature red oil paintings that depict surreal takes on South and North Korean landscapes, inspired by his time in the army when he surveyed the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) at night through infrared goggles.
