They say a picture says a thousand words, and this couldn’t be truer of the 145 photographs selected for the 2015 World Press Photo Contest, which were shortlisted from 97,912 entries submitted by over 5,000 photographers from 131 countries. Considered the Oscars of photojournalism and documentary photography, the exhibition has been touring the world and is currently on display at the National Museum of Singapore until Feb 21.
