Recently opened at Downtown Gallery just last month, The Work Project focuses on design, quality and the overall experience to encourage a happier and healthier workplace. Unlike other typical co-working spaces in Singapore that target start-up companies and freelancers, this one-of-a-kind communal space caters specially to the artistic crowd. Founded by industrial designer/multi-disciplinary artist Olivia Lee, the 1,000-sq-ft space is currently home to up-and-comers such as design studio Lanzavecchia + Wai and artist Clara Yee. The interior is anchored around durable furniture with a distinct white colour palette. Potted plants pepper the space to bring life and colour to the room.

Here’s another workspace that’s not catered for just white-collar professionals. This workshop space is dedicated to creative craftsmen who are involved in various types of craftwork and need larger drafting tables for planning and making. The industrial-chic interior gets our vote for being one of our favourite places to work in.
