Calling all seafood lovers: there’s a new restaurant in town serving up fresh seafood from day till night. The new 4000 square feet dining and retail destination is located on the compounds of the recently opened Novotel on Stevens Road and features a beautiful Scandinavian-inspired interior. Our picks? The signature pulpit rock (the first freshly smoked salmon range in Singapore cooked with Asian flavours like Sichuan, black pepper, Thai curry and otah) as well as the langoustine, a seared tail with smoked bone marrow, confit of swede and crispy kale served with arctic char that has been lightly torched, cured in konbu and served with cauliflower puree, wakame powder and caviar. Yum.

Nestled in the creative enclave of Tiong Bahru, this French-inspired dining and lifestyle destination brings French social dining to the table. The cafe’s dinner, daytime and brunch menus echo its ethos of using only the finest ingredients, where pastries are made with 100 per cent French butter and baked fresh daily. Meat lovers will also fancy the Australian angus beef, which is a generously portioned select cut that is grilled to caramelised perfection and served with creamy seasonal mushrooms, beef jus reduction and burnt leek.

As one of two signature restaurants at Marina One, Wakanui Grill Dining is a haven for all steak lovers. It is situated in a stunning glass structure on the fourth floor of the west tower with a gorgeous Japanese-inspired interior. Be sure to try the restaurant’s New Zealand ocean beef and Wakanui spring lamb, which are grilled over Japan-sourced binchotan charcoal in the centrally-placed, open kitchen. Besides meat, the restaurant serves up seafood offerings such as ora king salmon, New Zealand-sourced sashimi-quality fresh fish and green lip mussels, and other seasonal produce.
