Pools reign supreme at these new hotels in Asia.
Set amid dense tropical greenery, with views of Kamala village and the Andaman Sea, each of Keemala’s villas (above) is themed after a mythical clan. The kicker: Each also has its own private pool, framed by lush rainforest canopy.
The green-clad hills above Ago Bay are the setting for Amanemu Aman Resort‘s second property in Japan. In addition to a private onsen in each villa (above), a stunning 33m heated outdoor pool faces the bay.
On the edge of scenic Lake Koggala, the 10-suite Tri is laid out in a whorl inspired by the Fibonacci sequence, and spirals from the water’s edge up to a water tower on a hill. The resort’s centrepiece? A 21m-long cantilevered pool (above).
