Amp Up Your Animal Print In A Second a la These Style Stars

Let’s face it, animal prints aren’t going anywhere. Here’s how to switch things up and give the trend a brand new vibe – plus the pieces you can cop.

by Engracia Ang  /   December 27, 2019

Fall is usually a time for muted tones and earthy hues. However, this season, we’re seeing plenty of It animal prints stay put. Yes, leopard and zebra prints aren’t going anywhere (anytime soon, at least). If this trend errs on the side of gaudy for you, we’ve rounded up the coolest style stars who’ve put their own chic spin on it instead.

The easiest way to incorporate the trend is via accessories – think cute sunnies, scarves, and hair barrettes. Or you could dive into the deep end by donning a printed jumpsuit. Take a look at how some of our favourite Instagram It girls have pulled off the trend.

For party season, consider this: a sequinned leopard print dress. A pair of pointed golden flats and a black clutch will pull the look together and keep things from looking gaudy.

A 90s-style spaghetti strap top would look incredible tucked into white wide-legged pants, no? Bonus French Girl points if you carry a straw bag.

When the weather allows for it, wear your favourite animal print top with a cool jacket (we prefer leather jackets), cigarette jeans, slingbacks and a cute box bag. We’d advise against lying on strangers’ cars, however.
