Our Female x Stuart Weitzman event may have ended yesterday, but we’ve still got our eyes on their summer-ready strappy shoes in a wide variety of styles, from sandals and flats to wedges. But that’s not all: This weekend, American brand Coach launches its highly anticipated Coach 1941 collection in stores, and there are more summery goodies out come Saturday at multi-label boutique Kapok. Sounds like a perfect way to beat the heat.
To celebrate this weekend’s launch of the Coach 1941 collection, where vintage bag designs have been given a chic, modern treatment, the American brand is giving customers a customisable floral bouquet with every purchase made. On top of that, glasses of bubbly will be handed out, and there’ll also be a pop-up instant photobooth right outside the store. Exclusively at its Wisma Atria flagship (#02-19) from 12pm-3pm on April 8-9
Launching April 9, several brands exclusive to Kapok will launch summer-appropriate clothes and accessories under the umbrella theme “Le Grand Depart” (when Parisians typically leave the city and head to the south of France to spend summers). The multi-label boutique has collaborated with French brand Commune de Paris to produce a slogan t-shirt and tote bag (both $88) in celebration of Kapok’s 10th anniversary. Other exclusive launches include London-based brand Cleo Ferin Mercury, whose quirky scarves ($219 each) are inspired by wildlife this season; Danish menswear brand Capital Goods’ range of classic polo shirts ($89-$179); and Rivieras’ Special Edition unisex plimsolls in blue and sandy tones (from $159).
The German sportswear brand adds a new style to its ZX Flux series: A more playful and modern silhouette called the ZX Flux ADV. The running shoe has a breathable mesh lining, a textile upper, and its bold colourways takes you seamlessly from gym to weekend shindig – who can resist? $139 (for women) and $149 (for men), available at adidas stores
