The second season of HBO’s Euphoria confirms it: the Y2K resurgence is now in full blast. Every outfit spotted on the hit teen drama has been deliciously serving 2000’s nostalgia with the right amount of modern embellishment and sex appeal since the show premiered on January 9.
One look that has taken the Internet by storm is Maddy Perez’s (played by Alexa Demie) peek-a-boo New Year’s Eve outfit seen on the show’s first episode. The tight black mini dress with well-positioned cutouts was paired with long gloves and came from Mexican designer Aiden Euan’s Akna label.
