Adored by shopaholics and IT girls worldwide, the late Kate Spade was a highly respected designer known not only for her feminine and playful handbag designs – the iconic Sam bag, a love for polka dots and bright colours – but also her undivided dedication and #girlboss attitude, long before #girlboss became a thing.
Despite selling the brand entirely in 2006 to focus on her family, she left behind a legacy and an accessible style which the brand today continues to uphold through its aesthetic and philosophy. As we mourn her passing, we picked out some of our favourite Kate Spade bags of the season to honour her.
