Here Is This Week's Female Fave Five Fashion Finds
Anya Hindmarch's Bags That Work Collection
Launching on August 14, this collection consists of five bags specifically aimed at making working women’s lives easier. How? Each of the bags come with labelled pockets for your belongings, which essentially makes them the cargo pants of bags. We especially love this collection of bags for their utility element while still looking sophisticated at the same time.
Uniqlo's Love & Mickey Mouse collecttion
Uniqlo has teamed up with London-based artist Kate Moross (left) to release a collection of T-shirts featuring pop icons Mickey and Minnie Mouse on August 17. Known best for her typography and free-form lettering style (that has fronted magazine covers and many more), the T-shirts ($19.90) come with her personal touch, playful, graffiti-like font illustrations alongside the monochrome characters.
Oversized frames are back in trend, as seen on Moschino, Gucci and now Dior’s Fall-Winter runways. Worn by all the models in Dior’s FW ’18/19 show, this is the modern-day answer to the ’70s oversized, tinted glasses trend, with their vibrant hues and monochrome colourway.
Fossil's fourth generation smartwatches
As an extension of its Fossil Q line, the brand might just have just released the most millennial watch ever. Launching this month, wearers can customise the watch (from strap to dial) to their own liking, and even set social media photos as the watch face background. Sounds about millennial?
Moncler Genius' collab with Noir's Kei Ninomiya
Moncler Genius has just revealed a collaboration with Kei Ninomiya, who shows off a cool way of making puffers fashionable. Through detailed workmanship and fabric manipulation, he kept the silhouettes feminine, while injecting an element of punk into them. To get a taste of just how much we’re in awe of his detailed craft (think quilting, intarsia, applique and geometric cutouts), you may view them at Moncler boutiques or at Dover Street Market Singapore.
