Since stepping out on the red carpet in a floral-print Gucci suit in late 2015, Harry Styles has come a long way from just being the house’s muse. The British singer is now imparting his creativity and fashion eye in a collaboration with his good pal and creative director Alessandro Michele that hit shelves on Nov 4.
Aptly titled, Gucci HA HA HA, the ready-to-wear collection is not only named so because of the respective artists’ first name initials, but is also a symbol of Michele’s and Styles’ good-natured friendship as the duo always end their messages with the smiley face emoji.

Expect plenty of playful and cartoonish motifs of hearts, lamb and cherries popping up in the Gucci HA HA HA collection that will keep you feeling young at heart.
“Harry has an incredible sense of fashion… I came to understand that the styling of a look is a generator of differences and of powers,” says Michele of the collaboration, “We ended up with a mix of aesthetics from 1970s pop and bohemian to the revision of the image of the gentleman in an overturned memory of men’s tailoring.”

The campaign, shot by Mark Borthwick, tells of the playful nature both Style’s and the house have towards everyday life and objects. “I’m always inspired watching him work, so doing this collaboration with my friend was very special to me,” shares the singer-actor.
The collaborative collection intertwines Michele’s romantic designs with Styles’ English heritage. Pieces from the collection showcase English tailoring: the Prince of Wales check pattern appear on double-breasted coats, mother-of-pearl buttons are sewn onto dress shirts, and eclectic-patterned suits complete the lineup.
Ahead, a look at the pieces from this joyful collaboration.
