For a fun spin on can-you-match-it games found in activity books, we’ve put together a series of classic bags from some of our favourite fashion houses. Your job: match the latest iterations of these classic bags with their right descriptions (P.S. answers can be found in the last slide). Stayed tuned for more to come in this series.
1. The Marmont
The label’s answer to a classic quilted handbag with its distinct chevron-patterned matelasse leather finish and double-G clasp. As part of the brand’s Beloved range that spotlights essentials with a personal touch, it gets updated in bi- and tri-coloured combis such as navy and red with a butter yellow trim.
2. The Dionysus
Alessandro Michele’s bag debut as creative director that sees him energise staples (a slim, boxy shoulder bag) with his signature vintage-tinged, magpie magic (the tiger-headed, horseshoe-shaped clasp).
3. The Horsebit 1955
Technically a line covering a wide range of styles (totes, camera bags, pochettes, etc) anchored by the brand’s horsebit hardware. The latest spin-offs come in pop-coloured straw, forming a sub-collection that the brand dubs “Towards Summer”.
4. The Jackie 1961
The revival of the chic hobo synonymous with Jackie O that was revealed last year, now with fun updates such as a Modish white with black trim.
