Instant film photography has long been associated with the hipster crowd. But as our September issue shows, it is the hottest medium of choice for artsy photographers. Michael Kors, too, is now making it a fashionista’s camera of choice.
For the American brand’s latest tech outing following the release of its smartwatch, the designer has tied up with Japanese photography brand Fujifilm. The project, which is also Fujifilm’s first-ever fashion collaboration, has re-designed the retro-style Instax Mini 70 instant film camera like you’ve never seen before.
For those into selfies, the Instax Mini 70 boats a selfie mode with a high-performance flash and a front-facing mirror next to the lens. Add-ons for the camera ($299) include a scrapbook, key chain and a camera strap. Below, more reasons why you should get your hands on one:
