You know Korean streetwear for its distinctly edgy appeal, what with its oversized shirts and slouchy tees. Apart from the growing Korean fashion online businesses, you’ll be glad to know that contemporary South Korean fashion brand H:Connect has officially opened its first Southeast Asia store here in Singapore. Fronted by renowned K-pop star, Yoona of Girls’ Generation, the 10-year-old brand has more than 300 stores across Korea (the flagship store is planted at the hip Gangnam district), Taiwan and China.
Following the store’s (Bugis Junction #01-101) official opening last Friday Oct 28, it now stocks more than 500 designs from its latest Fall/Winter 2016 collection. From trendy staples like sweaters and boot-cut jeans to work-friendly pieces such as shirt dresses and striped blouses, the collection is basically what fashion fiends would love to get their mitts on. The best part: pieces are affordably priced, ranging from $33 for a camisole to $109 for a trench coat.
Meanwhile, the brand promises to strive in pushing out new drops weekly, for local customers to get access to the latest K-fashion styles. Below, take a look at the three themes from its latest collection we’re currently loving:
