Loewe’s new Anagram Jacquard collection, which is out in stores now, will have no problem converting those who belong to the latter group. Making its debut for Spring/Summer 2021, this handcrafted collection is marked by the use of a new soft canvas jacquard design that features the Spanish maison’s streamline quadruple-L insignia motif.

Handcrafted in Spain, the new Anagram jacquard bag features the Loewe logo – originally designed in 1970 by Spanish painter Vicente Vela – that was refreshed (and streamlined) by creative director Jonathan Anderson in 2014.
Hardy yet lightweight (brownie points there), the cotton-blend fabric comes in two muted colourways of a smokey grey hue called anthracite against matte black calfskin trim and a creamy shade of ecru against tan calfskin trim.
It also uses a special double-warp structure that provides extra definition to the fabric and gives it a luxurious tactile quality. The overall result: a subtle and contemporary take on the monogram bag with a utilitarian appeal.
