After a successful run working with motifs from Studio Ghibli’s My Neighbour Totoro in 2021, Loewe has teamed up again with the prestigious Japanese animation film studio on a second collaboration. Launching on January 7, it’s based this time on Spirited Away, one of the most critically acclaimed and game-changing shows of its genre.

In this line, some of the most iconic moments from anime auteur Hayao Miyazaki’s work turn up on a host of ready-to-wear and leather goods. These range from printed wardrobe staples and SLGs to splendidly complex knits with appliques of the movie’s characters.

The iconic No-Face makes its presence felt in this Loewe X Spirited Away collaboration.
There are plenty of novelty pieces to love too: The brand’s signature Flamenco drawstring bag, for example, features a print of Aogaeru – the frog spirit in the film – with its leather ties for the creature’s hands.

The adorable, ghoulish (read: shapeless) No-Face – perhaps the most beloved figure in Spirited Away – has meanwhile been cleverly interpreted into the equally supple Bracelet pouch.
