For those who like the intersection where fashion meets art and design, the new Louis Vuitton Time Capsule exhibition should be right up your alley.
Taking place from now till November 5 at the atrium outside of Ion Orchard, the exhibition examines how the French maison has pre-empted the needs and desires of a changing world over the course of 160 years. What this means: Some of the house’s oldest and rarest creations (from Japanese tea boxes to picnic sets!) will be on display alongside modern inventions such as the Petite Malle clutch and even a fold-out chaise lounge chair.
And for those who like to collect memorabilia, there’s even a “vending machine” of sorts – every visitor to the exhibition will receive two postcards at the end of the tour. There are a total of 8 designs, 4 of which are exclusive to Singapore, and each postcard comes laden with collectible stickers.
