Without a doubt, 2020’s style hero is the face mask and fashion designers have been quick to pivot on designing this new wardrobe essential. Cue Off-White’s Virgil Abloh and Yoko Ono creating their own reusable versions, and independent Singapore brands like Lisa Von Tang, Ginlee Studio, and Beyond The Vines as well as local up-and-starters like Maskela (@maskela) and Winnie Yippie (@winnieyippie) making their strides in the mask-designing scene.

Practicality aside, they can also double up as a necklace or sunglass chain.

In the gallery below, we spotlight 11 local brands that are championing this trend with their own renditions.
