What These Music Festival Fans Wore To The Alex Blake Charlie Sessions

Real style on the streets.

by Khong Yawen  /   March 10, 2023

The Alex Blake Charlie Sessions music festival drew in a rather stylish crowd this year.

The sophomore edition of the female-fronted festival The Alex Blake Charlie Sessions, which was held on Feb 21 to 25 at Pasir Panjang Power Station, saw a robust programme that went beyond the music. Cue the pop up cinema, art lane and book cafe – all of which were part of its organiser and industry vet Marcia Tan vision of a music festival as “a community gathering to me where people are socialising, discovering new things and simply getting out to have a good time”.

That community congregated on the final day of the event which saw acts like Japanese folk singer Ichiko Aoba; Korean-American musician Deb Never and multi-instrumentalist Luna Li take to the stage. Attendees of the festival were also treated to sets and regional DJs like rEmPiT g0dDe$$, Kindergarchy and Didi Han who had the crowd going strong into the night.

Like the diverse roster of performers, the crowd was also a riot when it came to their individual sense of dressing. Want to see what we mean? Scroll on for more snaps.
