10 New Bags Of The Season To Add To Your Wishlist

by CHRISTABEL TEO  /   May 17, 2018

Nothing completes an outfit or an OOTD shot more than a cool, stylish bag. With the fierce competition among fashion brands to drop potentially sensational or IT bags, it can be hard to keep up with the latest and hottest of the crop. Here are the latest bag debuts this season you need to know of to sound like a fashion insider.

10 New Bags Of The Season To Add To Your Wishlist
#1: Leather Pippa bucket bag, Kate Spade New York

The Pippa bucket bag is one of Kate Spade’s key silhouettes of the season. The most fun piece of the collection? This adorable number that comes with a flamingo design.

#2: Cecyle calf leather bag, $2,690, Bally

If you’re a fan of vintage-style bags, this one is right up your alley. Bally has refreshed the conventional saddle bag shape by giving it a rounder, more modern structure. And together with the brand’s signature stripes, this makes for the perfect everyday accessory.

#3: Peekaboo X Lite calf leather with shearling bag, Fendi
image

Fans of the iconic Fendi peekaboo are in for a treat this season with this season’s Peekaboo X Lite. What’s cool about this season’s edition is that it comes without the T-bag inside, which means that it’s much lighter and roomier.

#4: Leather crossbody bag, $1,330, Moschino

We’re obsessed with this super fun detergent print Moschino bag, which is part of the new “Moschino Eyes” capsule collection that merges the brand’s ironic DNA with pop art done by Ben Frost, an Australian artist known for his daring and often controversial works.

#5: Amazone S calfskin bag, $1,125, Longchamp

The Amazone, Longchamp’s key bag of the season, features a nickel saddle buckle inspired by the equestrian spirit that the brand holds in high regard. The sliding chain allows for the bag to be worn as a shoulder bag, a cross-body or handbag, depending on your mood.

The Amazone will be available in Longchamp boutiques from 22 May 2018.

#6: Accordion wool, metal and leather bag, Chanel

Inspired by Lagerfield’s birth city in Germany, Hamburg, this cool accordion crossbody can be opened up and makes for a great conversation starter.

#7: Made In Tote medium textile bag, $1,900, Céline

Celine’s key bag of the season, the Made In Tote, adds on to the list of large bags that have been all the rage in fashion. This comes in three sizes and certainly doesn’t miss out on the functionality factor.

#8: Vicky patent leather bag, Saint Laurent

The Vicky has been highlighted as the brand’s newest must-have, and what we’re loving about it is that the oversized YSL logo has been made center stage.

#9: Medium leather and metal shoulder bag, $2460, Gucci
image

As an extension of the GG Marmont, Gucci has released this bag made with a new soft calf leather with naturally uneven grains. With its magnetic closure, this elegant shoulder bag can also be used as a clutch.

#10: Spooky Eyes Print leather duffle bag, $750, Coach
image

Perfect for the fairytale fanatic, this bag with spooky eyes was inspired by the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as part of the Disney x Coach collaboration. The eyes are suggestive of the haunted forest in pictures of the original show and are given a goth-chic twist on this bag.
