Burberry (#B1- 103 & #B2-78 The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands)

Can’t swing by the brand’s iconic Regent Store in London just yet? Soak in a similar experience here at its Marina Bay Sands store that reopened in November. Now aligned with the brand’s new identity, the store is livened up with its youthful high-glossed finishes, mirrored plywood flooring and a warm palette of beige, white and pistachio across its interiors and fixtures. The duplex also stocks the full suite of offerings by the house including its cult-favourite Olympia and Pocket bags and holds the honour as the first Burberry store in Southeast Asia to carry its childrenswear line.

Off-White (#B1-128 The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands)

Consider the brand’s second Singapore outpost a temple for the quintessential Virgil Abloh fan. If its other boutique at Paragon is an absolutely pink visual treat (right down to its marble floors), this 2,034 square feet store goes for a stark minimalist route with its predominantly grey palette and design accents in resin, powdered plaster finishes, recycled plastic, and texturised glass – juxtaposed with a dash of tranquil greenery. In-store offerings include both menswear and womenswear lines as well the introduction of its newest “Out of Office” sneakers which boast Abloh’s ’80s-inspired take on the tennis shoe.

Off-White
Adidas Originals (#B1-06/07 & 11 VivoCity)
image

Opened last month, this Adidas Originals store is the brand’s largest flagship in the region. Dubbed the Home of the Originals (HOTO), the store spans four units decked out in art installations and murals by local artists like Tan Yang Er (@yangermeister_), SONG (@song.rscls), Eman Jeman (@clogtwo) and Adeline Tan (@yell0w) that are inspired by the Lion City’s ever-evolving street culture. What else that may catch your eye: a dedicated Sneakers Collectors lounge that will display an extensive curation of the rarest Adidas Originals kicks owned by local sneakerheads.

Adidas Originals
Casa Loewe (#01-11A/12 Ion Orchard)

After sprouting in fashion locales like Madrid, London, Tokyo and Beijing, Loewe’s flagship concept store Casa Loewe has finally landed in Singapore. Get lost in this is larger-than-life space which is adorned with beautiful pieces of art personally curated by creative director Jonathan Anderson. The special objects housed within the 340 square metre store include a chandelier from Antique Associates, Utrecht armchairs designed by the Dutch artist Gerrit Thomas Rietveld and benches commissioned by Loewe Foundation Craft Prize 2019 finalists Jim Partridge and Liz Walmsley. Besides the art, you’ll be able to discover the brand’s full range of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, bags, small leather goods, soft accessories, eyewear, jewellery, and shoes too. Seasonally, its entrance will also function as a pop-up space where the brand can feature its latest capsule collections and art projects too.

Loewe
Dior Beauty (#B2-53 Ion Orchard)

If you’re a beauty geek, you’ll absolutely adore Dior Beauty‘s newest flagship boutique. Spanning over 95 square metres, be greeted by offerings from the maison’s three beauty pillars – skincare, makeup, and fragrances. Top the retail experience with a luxurious skincare treatment in the store’s private alcove and dress up your face or purchase a Dior fashion accessory you see peering in the corner of the boutique’s costume jewellery counter.

Dior
Boucheron (#01-56 The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands)
image

The French jewellery maison which gave us iconic designs like the Quatre, the Serpent Boheme collection and the Question Mark necklace has just opened its newly refurbished boutique at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Mirroring the aesthetic of the house’s Parisian boutique, the Singapore outpost boasts a familiar neoclassical architectural design and a private VIP room for personalised one-on-one experiences with customers.

Boucheron
Gin Lee Studio (#01-145 Great World City)
image

Opened in October last year,  this inviting space is the second outlet for the Singapore label which is best known for its pleated garments that celebrate the homegrown brand’s Mediterranean roots. The concept store allows customers to discover the “Ginlee Make” experience which eradicates the mass, ready-made process observed in the fast fashion industry by allowing customers to customize their own accessories like bags and cushion cover upon their visit. This includes having the choice to select the designs and colours they would prefer, followed by a chance to watch the pleating craftsmanship and steaming done in front of them. The store also extends its sustainability efforts with the Get-Order-On-Demand (GOOD) scheme that rewards shoppers with a 15 per cent discount if they are able to wait three to five weeks for their orders to arrive.

Gin Lee
Rue Madame (#02-11 Cluny Court)
image

If you’re all about the timeless French girl style aesthetic, you’ll love this multi-label store’s newest outlet which is located near the Botanic Gardens MRT Station. Discover its eclectic curation of French and European brands such as The Jacksons and Veja and newcomers like Parisian jewellery brand Bijoux Medecine and Soeur that are sold exclusively in Singapore at the Rue Madame boutique.
