On March 24 to April 3, details of the Chanel X Pedder on Scotts pop-up have been kept tightly under wraps with us knowing so much as that:
– It’ll take up considerable space within the cult designer multi-label boutique
– It’ll focus on the French label’s airport-themed Spring Summer 2016 collection
– And it’ll offer both ready-to-wear and accessories and will be the first time that the brand is retailing its covetable wares outside of its boutiques here.
In an exclusive interview during the recent Paris Fashion Week Fall Winter 2016, Chanel president Bruno Pavlovsky tells our editor Noelle Loh that ultimately, the 11-day event will be “a unique concept to Singapore that lets consumers (here) understand the collection”.
“Chanel is about creativity,” he explains. “We offer six ready-to-wear and two haute couture collections in a year, and new novelties in store every two months. This very special concept (at Pedder on Scotts) is on top of that and offers another angle, another vision, another understanding to our collections.”
With two days to this initiative taking flight, here’s what stylist Imran Jalal predicts – and hopes – will be carried on site.
