The Spring/Summer 2019 steam started out like a tepid blip on our radar in New York, before it gained momentum in London, cruised its way through Milan… and reached a crescendo by the time the Parisian leg got into full force. Cue Hedi Slimane’s debut at Celine, the subliminal designs and emotional revue at Valentino, and the “seaside” set at Chanel — the City of Lights put on one bold show this season.
