Rihanna has chalked up quite a rep for collaborating with some of the coolest brands out there, like her Manolo Blahnik capsule collection of sexy denim footwear and her highly sought-after Puma slides and creepers, but the singer and style icon isn’t stopping there.
The sultry Barbadian first teamed up with Dior last May when she starred in a Secret Garden campaign video shot in luxe Versailles. This time around, she’s designed a range of futuristic sunglasses for the French maison that are a consummate reflection of Rihanna’s bold, unapologetic style.
The line, simply dubbed Rihanna, comprises shades ($1,300-$3,000) in six different hues – think fluorescent pinks, greens and blues and even a 24-karat gold-plated version. Every pair has a metallic sheen with a distinctly futuristic touch – no surprise, considering the designs were inspired by a Star Trek character, Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge, who wears a thin Cyclops-esque visor in the films. While they’ll only hit Dior stores come June, scroll through a preview of the colours
