Besides a hyped-up edition designed in collaboration with Dior Men for Spring/Summer 2020, Rimowa’s ever-popular Personal Cross-body Bag has always appeared in polycarbonate. Well, not anymore.
Adding to the utilitarian cachet of the Cross-body Bag: the bag’s two compartments, three card slots and a zipped pocket.
Hitting shelves this month: a permanent line of Cross-body Bag with a shell that has been crafted in the German brand’s quintessential grooved aluminium material with a matte finish.
The versatile bag is paired with a utilitarian and detachable leather strap which allows you to carry the piece as a crossbody bag or shoulder bag.
Rimowa’s Personal Hand Clutch (left) and Personal Sling Clutch are the newest additions to the Personal family this season – and are all made with the brand’s signature grooved aluminium shell.
Joining the updated Cross-body Bag this season are two unisex debuts – the Personal Sling Clutch and Personal Hand Clutch – which are also created in the same aluminium shell.
Both designs feature leather-lined interiors which are roomy enough to stash a mobile phone, passport and keys. As a safety precaution, the closing system for each bag comes with a mechanical button that snaps securely shut.
The Personal Hand Clutch comes in three colourways – silver with a grey strap, black with a black strap, and blush with a grey strap (above). Alternatively, you can customise the design with an orange strap.
For those who really want to get really personal with their bag design, Rimowa lets you opt for either a cactus green or orange webbed jacquard strap for the Personal Sling Clutch, and the choice of a bright orange leather wrist strap to go with the Personal Hand Clutch.
